Cake with Gulab jamun mix

Ingredients :
Gulab jamun mix powder : 3/4 cup ( I used Gits 100 gm mix )
All purpose flour ( Maida ) : 3/4  cup
Powdered Sugar : 3/4 cup  ( If you want  more sweetness add 1 cup )
Fresh cream or milk : 1 cup ( I used home made fresh cream )
Chopped cashews : 2 tsp ( optional )
Any odourless oil : 1/4 cup
Baking Powder : 1/2  tsp
Baking Soda     : 1/4 tsp
Vanilla essence : 1 tsp

Recipe :
1. Add Gulab jamun mix powder & powder sugar in mixer jar & mix it throughly. 
2. Sieve maida,baking powder  & baking soda in a big bowl. 
3. Add gulab jamun mix & sugar mixture in above mixture. Add cashews. Mix well. 
4. Add  fresh cream also in mixer jar & mix well.
5. Add this cream in all the dry ingredients & fold gently. There should not be lumps. Add oil & mix well.
4. Bake the cake in greased tin in oven at 180 C for 35 minutes.
This cake tastes awesome, soft & delicious. 
 Enjoy it with tea or coffee!!! 

Healthy Methi laddus with Ragi & wheat flour

We prepare Methi & Dink (gond) laddus  traditionally by adding jaggery & kharik ( dry date) powder. In this winder try this healthy, delicious & easy version of laddus !!


Ingredients :
Ragi flour : 1 cup
Whole wheat flour : 1/2 cup
Roasted oats powder : 1/4 cup
Roasted Methi powder : 3 tsp ( If you like more bitterness add more methi powder)
Fried & coarsely powdered Dink ( gond ) : 3 tsp ( optional )
Desi Ghee : 6 tbsp
Chopped Seedless dates or de seeded : 1 cup
Black raisins  : 4 tsp
Golden raisins : 4 tsp
Chopped cashews : 2 tsp
Roasted Coarse almond powder : 2 tsp
Honey : 4 tbsp
Elaichi Powder (Green Cardamom) : 1 tsp

Recipe :
  1. Add 1 tsp desi ghee in a kadhai or heavy bottom pan. Fry dink to puff & then keep aside. Prepare coarse powder when it cools down. 
  2. In the same pan add 2 tsp desi ghee & ragi flour. Roast it thoroughly till a nice aroma comes out. It turn dark brown colour. Mix it with dink powder. 
  3. In the same way roast whole wheat flour & oats powder in 1 tsp desi ghee. Mix with above mixture.
  4. Roast methi powder in 1/2 tsp of desi ghee & mix in above mixture.
  5. In the same pan add chopped date with 1 tsp desi ghee. Turn on gas stove & roast only for 1-2 minutes or you can microwave for 30 sec. Dates should turn soft. Prepare smooth dough with the help of hands & mix it in above mixture. 
  6. Let it cool completely.  
  7. Add honey,dry fruits, remaining ghee ( dissolved ) & elaichi powder. Mix all the ingredients properly.
  8. Roll the laddus as per size you want & enjoy !!
Note : If you want more sweetness add some jaggery (making it soft) in the laddu mixture.

strawberry & banana cake with Ragi flour

Ingredients :
Ragi flour : 1  Cup
All purpose flour ( maida )  : 1/2 Cup
Fresh sliced strawberries : 3/4 cup
Chopped Banana : 1/2 cup
Powdered sugar : 3/4 cup
Yogurt ( plain Dahi ) : 1/2 Cup
Baking powder: 1 tsp
Baking soda : 1/4 tsp
White vinegar : 3/4 tsp
Vegetable oil or butter  : 1/4 cup
Vanilla Essence : 1 tsp 

Recipe :
1. Take sugar, sliced strawberries & banana in bowl. Mix together & keep aside.
2. Sieve ragi flour, maida, baking powder & baking soda in a big bowl.
3. Mix all the dry ingredients well.
4. In strawberry, banana & sugar mixture add yoghurt, vanilla essence & oil.   Mix well. 
5. Add dry ingredients mixture slowly in the wet mixture. Mix gently. There should not be lumps. Add white vinegar. Mix well.
6. Grease the tin with little oil. Keep butter paper in the tin & again grease on butter paper. Pour the cake batter in a greased tin.
7. Bake the cake in pre heated oven for 25 to 30 minutes at 180 C. 
8. Cut into pieces as you like & enjoy !!.
